Mike Rice fired as the Rutgers men s basketball coach last week after a tape of his physical and verbal abuse of players surfaced has nothing on Melissa McCarthy s Coach Sheila Kelly.
In a Saturday Night Live send up of the Rice scandal Kelly swung a baseball bat drove a golf cart fired a T shirt gun and threw a toaster at her Middle Delaware State players.
The sports references didn t end there. Kenan Thompson showed up on Weekend Update as Charles Barkley making the obligatory gambling and Michael Jordan jokes ( he s the Michael Jordan of gambling. ).
And Dennis Rodman showed up to botch the Live from New York opening.
