Notre Dame 48 Rice 17 FINAL
Football is back and Notre Dame got off to a rare quick start in 2014. The Irish defeated the defending Conference USA champions Rice 48 17 thanks to five total touchdowns from Everett Golson.
After 600 days between games Golson came out and laid to rest any questions we had about his ability to pick things up right where he left off.
Notre Dame is now 5 0 all time against Rice.
