Congratulations go out to Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross who tied the knot this weekend
Nearly two months after the nuptials of big sister Jessica to Eric Johnson Ashlee walked down the aisle at Evan's mother Diana Ross' estate multiple outlets are reporting. Some reports note the wedding took place on Saturday while others on Sunday.
If Ashlee's father Joe's Instagram photo is to be believed the two wed Sunday night August 31. Joe captioned the artsy photo of his daughter with Ashlee got married tonight
Another wedding related photo Joe posted has since been deleted.
According to Entertainment Tonight the joyous event at Ross' Connecticut home was attended by close family and friends. Jessica served as maid of honor while her daughter Maxwell and son Ace served as the flower girl and ring bearer according to Us Weekly.
Ashlee's five year old son Bronx from her previous marriage to musician Pete Wentz walked her down the aisle adds Us Weekly noting that Ross' Supreme mother performed at the ceremony.
Popsugar reports the wedding was bohemian themed and Ashlee's dress was decorated with pearls.
Ashlee 29 and Evan 26 first went public in July of last year two years after Simpson's divorce from Wentz. They got engaged in January.
