Support Rivers Vote Him Fed Ex Air Player of Week

After another magnificent performance it seemed inevitable Philip Rivers would be nominated for the Fed Ex Air Player of the Week for the fourth time this season and second consecutive week. Sure enough number 17 is up for the award along with the Houston Texans Ryan Fitzpatrick and Indianapolis Colts Andrew Luck.

Rivers has already twice been named the Fed Ex Air Player of the Week in 2014 but this may be his most deserving week. The quarterback carved up the Baltimore Ravens for his 19th career fourth quarter comeback leading three touchdown drives on three possessions. He completed 13 of 17 passes for 152 yards and two TD strikes.

Overall Rivers set season highs in completions (34) and yards (383) tied his season high with three touchdowns and his 113.5 passer rating was the sixth time he passed the 110.0 barrier. In the process he passed Dan Fouts for most career wins (87) as a Chargers QB and entered the top 20 in NFL history for passing yards.

If he wins FedEx will make a $2 000 donation to San Diego s local chapter of the American Red Cross.

Be sure to vote Rivers this week Fed Ex Air Player of the Week but also make sure to vote him into the Pro Bowl.
