In 2015 Iggy Azalea is resolving to avoid 'the drama' and 'flare ups' of the past 12 months.
The 24 year old rapper who last year soared to the top of the charts with her debut album The New Classic has spent the last part of 2014 embroiled in a feud with fellow artist Azealia Banks and it appears the stress of their very public debate is taking its toll.
Writing on Twitter on New Year's Eve the bootylicious blonde announced she's going to take more care of her health after being diagnosed with stress related Temporomandibular joint dysfunction.

'I'm gonna make more of an effort to take care of myself in 2015 stay away from all the drama hopefully not have any flair sic ups ' the Australian told her 3.7 million followers adding
'Also last month I was diagnosed with TMJ which isn't the best.'

The condition is marked by pain and restricted movement and stress as well as poor posture and teeth grinding is largely thought to be a major contributing factor.
While Iggy remains optimistic about the diagnosis and doesn't think it will much affect her professional life she is determined to seek a stress free year.

'I don't think western medicine all the way acknowledges what a huge toll mental stress takes on our bodies ' she wrote on Twitter.But I do believe it is a factor.'
'Anyhow I don't think it will ever prevent me from doing anything I want to but it has made me realize it's important to look after yourself.'
Not letting the condition or her ongoing feud slow her down the blonde bombshell also announced that she intends to be 'back to work on my second album' next week.

The Black Widow rapper has found herself clashing with Azealia Banks who suggested the artist is ignorant about black issues and does not deserve her place in the hip hop industry.
While the vicious war of words has been raging between the two ladies since early December it hasn't been confined to them alone.
The latest musician to weigh into the debate is rapper Q Tip who recently schooled Iggy on the history of hip hop with a series of Tweets.

'This is not a chastisement this is not admonishment at ALL this is just one artist reaching to another hoping to spark insight into the field you are in ' he wrote.
'I say this in the spirit of a hopeful healthy dialogue that maybe one day we can continue.'
Rapper T.I a close friend of Iggy's who signed her to his record label has since come to her defence saying 'There are some artists that merely wish to contribute to hip hop . And I'd be less than ME if I didn't say that...
'If WE don't allow u guys the same... rights respect we KNOW WE DESERVE in other areas of humanity... WE'RE ALL JUST A BUNCH OF HYPOCRITES. AND THATS NOT HIP HOP ' he wrote.
The feud comes after the Fancy hitmaker was attacked by Snoop Dogg who criticised her makeup free appearance.
She also became the victim of vile and misogynistic lyrics in one of Eminem's latest tracks where he raps about dragging her by his Humvee and raping her.
