It's hard to imagine now but there was a time when Bill Belichick was considered a failure as a coach.
That was a lifetime ago when Belichick couldn't get much going with the Cleveland Browns.
Belichick has written an entirely different script since then and if his New England Patriots beat Seattle in the Super Bowl on Sunday he will take a back seat to no coach in terms of collecting rings.
The trophy would be Belichick's fourth a total matched only by Pittsburgh's Chuck Noll (4 0). Belichick is currently 3 2 in Super Bowls
Bill Walsh (3 0) and Joe Gibbs (3 1) are the only other coaches with as many as three Super Bowl titles. Only Don Shula (2 4) has coached in as many Super Bowls as Belichick will have on Sunday.
