A winter storm forecast to dump up to a foot of snow in the area through Monday morning has resulted in the closure of municipal buildings and school districts.
The Port Huron Municipal Office Center will be closed Monday said City Manager James Freed. The recreation offices at Palmer Park will also be closed.
The special city council meeting will run as scheduled.

Port Huron Council to hold special meeting
St. Clair County Board of Commissioners Chairman Jeff Bohm said county offices will also be closed.
County Administrator Bill Kauffman said the main administration building courthouse health department and library are included in the closures. The county airport will be decided in the morning.
Other municipal closures include the Marysville City Hall and Riley Township Hall.
St. Clair County Community Mental Health will be closed Monday.

Snowy conditions continue Monday morning
The Yale Capac and Port Huron senior centers as well as the Washington Life Center in Marine City will also be closed Monday.
