Deputy constable arrested on prostitution charge By DON BOLDING dbolding wacotrib.com Waco Tribune Herald
McLennan County Precinct 1 Deputy Constable Steve Canava 51 has posted $25 000 bond on a charge worded on a warrant as prostitution under the age of 18 a second degree felony Sheriff Parnell McNamara said Sunday.
Canava was arrested on the warrant Friday. He was a Waco police officer for many years McNamara said.
Precinct 1 Constable Walt Strickland was not available for comment Sunday.
