Orlando City central defender Conor Donovan and his countrymen will look to get into the quarterfinals with a win over Colombia early Wednesday morning.
Colombia finished 1 1 1 in Group C with a 1 0 win over Qatar a 1 1 draw with Senegal and a 3 1 loss to Estrela's team Portugal.
The United States is the only CONCACAF team still standing although standing a bit more shorthanded than before with Maki Tall being ruled out with an injury sustained in the Ukraine match. These teams have met twice previously in international competitions with each capturing a 2 1 victory. The U.S. U 20s are 5 7 0 all time against CONMEBOL opponents but is 5 1 in the last six.
The winner of this match will face the winner of the Serbia Hungary match in the quarterfinals on Sunday June 14.

It's ok to be critical and let's face it sometimes even the best teams can be frustrating to watch but being overly negative relentlessly can sap the enjoyment for others. Keep it somewhat clean and fair when criticizing players / officials. You never know who might be reading. Do unto others in the match thread the way you would have others do unto you. We are a fun community and want to keep it this way. We have a moderator but we'd rather let him enjoy the game instead of having to play babysitter. Finally we don't have a rule against profanity but don't abuse the non rule. Also any language that is sexist racist or homophobic in nature will be swiftly deleted and you may lose posting privileges. We're all in this together.
