Sam Hunt s breakthrough year just got even bigger. The genre bending country singer won Breakthrough Video of the Year for his clip for Leave the Night On at the 2015 CMT Music Awards.
The song was the debut single from his debut album Montevallo and it reached No. 1. It was up against Chase Rice s Gonna Wanna Tonight Frankie Ballard s clip for Sunshine Whiskey Kelsea Ballerini s Love Me Like You Mean It Maddie Tae s Girl in a Country Song video and God Made Girls by RaeLynn for the CMT buckle.
