DADDY S little girl is all grown up. Rapper Eminem s daughter has graduated high school with distinction and he couldn t be prouder.
Eminem real name Marshall Mathers paid tribute to his daughter in his songs Hailie s Song and Mockingbird.
In among the rapper s Instagram photos of live performances tattoos and soccer matches is a photo of Hailie Jade Scott Mathers 18 graduating from Chippewa Valley High School summa cum laude (meaning she maintained a grade point average of 3.9 or above out of 4).
In addition to her high marks Mathers accumulated experience in the school s Art Club National Honour Society Key Club (a student led organisation that teaches leadership through service to others) and on the student council as was a volleyball player.
She was crowned homecoming queen last October and was awarded the Department of Pyschology Award at graduation.
The high achiever thanked her father and her mother Kim on a school website under a heading Most Influential During My Lifetime. My mother and father are because they have pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have.
Her parents are twice married (to each other) and twice divorced but came together for the event in spite of their turbulent past.
According to the Macomb Daily News one parent said Hailie came out with her mother Kim (Scott) when she was introduced with all the other kids but her father watched from inside the school because he didn t want to cause a scene he wanted Hailie to have her own moment.
I heard our people had him in the cafeteria so he could see what was going on outside but I can t confirm that said George Sobah president of the Chippewa Valley Board of Education.
Another parent reported that Eminem opened the door and looked out like That s my daughter He just looked like a proud father.
According to US ABC News Mathers plans to pursue either psychology or entrepreneurship at Michigan State University.
