Preparing for their first game since teammate Eric Berry was put on the non football injured reserve list Monday Kansas City Chiefs players wore t shirts supporting the Pro Bowl safety as they warmed up for Sunday night s matchup with Denver.
Berry who team doctors suspect is suffering from lymphoma should receive an official diagnosis later this week. The shirts which read Be Bold Be Brave Be Berry on the front with the player s initials highlighted have Berry s name and number 29 on the back.
According to ESPN s Chiefs reporter Adam Teicher the shirts will be sold to the public once Berry s official diagnosis is confirmed.
The Chiefs say the Berry shirts will soon be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit research once diagnosis is made
