Lupita Nyong o s one of a kind Calvin Klein dress made of over 6 000 pearls was returned to the London Hotel in West Hollywood where it was stolen on Feb. 25 sources confirm. The L.A. County Sheriff s Dept. received an anonymous call on Feb. 27 stating that the dress could be found inside a trash bag on a second floor bathroom of the hotel.
Lupita Nyongo o s Stolen Oscar Dress Returned Back To Hotel By ThiefWell that s a classy return. A man called TMZ around 2 30pm stating that he was the thief who took the dress from Lupita s hotel room.
He claimed that he and others took a couple pearls off of the dress and headed to the garment district in downtown L.A. where he was told the pearls were not real. This is a shocker since the dress is valued at $150 000

TMZ contacted the L.A. Coutny Sheriff s Department who then retrieved the bag in a garment bag inside a trash bag underneath a bathroom sink. Detectives are working to uncover if the dress returned is in fact the real dress stolen from Lupita s hotel room.

The dress was on a loan from the fashion house which is why Lupita was unable to file the police report herself.
We re glad the mystery of Lupita s dress was solved. Worthless or not Lupita stunned on the carpet and had one of the best looks of the night
