Television Series Arriving on Netflix Amazon Prime and Hulu in April 2015

New original and off network series titles for the month of April will appear on the streaming video services Netflix Amazon Prime and Hulu.

The highlight of the month is the Netflix premiere of the inaugural season of Marvel drama Daredevil debuting April 10. Based on the legendary blind lawyer by day/crime fighter by night character created by Stan Lee and Bill Everett this series was developed by Drew Goddard (screenwriter for series Buffy the Vampire Slayer Angel Alias and LOST ). Its showrunner will be Steven S. DeKnight ( Xena Warrior Princess Starz s Spartacus ). It stars Charlie Cox ( Boardwalk Empire ) in the title role Deborah Ann Woll ( True Blood ) Rosario Dawson and Vincent D Onofrio ( Law and Order Criminal Intent ) as Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin.

The first five episodes of DreamWorks Animation s All Hail King Julien had already debuted exclusively on Netflix back in December. Beginning April 3 the remaining five episodes in its first season will be released. Based on the characters from the hit film Madagascar the series features the voices of Danny Jacobs (as the lemur King Julien) Andy Richter ( Conan ) and Henry Winkler ( Happy Days ) with guest voices Diedrich Bader ( The Drew Carey Show ) and Debra Wilson ( MADtv ).

Also on Apr. 3 Netflix will premiere Derek a comedy special starring British comedian Ricky Gervais.

The following are the television series arriving on Netflix the first season of AMC drama Halt and Catch Fire (April 8) starring Lee Pace ( Pushing Daisies ) the fourth (and final) season of the FX U.S. adaptation of Australian comedy Wilfred (April 7 also on Hulu) starring Elijah Wood and Jason Gann the third (and final) season of YouTube sensation Video Game High School (April 13) season four of ABC Family comedy Baby Daddy (April 17) and the seventh (and final) season of the hit FX biker gang drama Sons of Anarchy (April 25).

The entire final seasons of Sons of Anarchy will also appear on Amazon Prime and Hulu on the same Apr. 25th date.

The fourth season of critical acclaimed FX comedy Louie arrives on Hulu on March 31 and later on Amazon Prime on Apr. 10.

All the installments of Ken Burns highly lauded 2014 PBS documentary The Roosevelts will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime on April 1st.

Many various shows seasons are also making their way onto Hulu exclusively Most notably the first 14 seasons of CSI the CBS hit drama that heightened the popularity of criminal procedurals on broadcast network television at the start of the 21st century will appear on April 7. For most of the series run it starred William Petersen Marg Helgenberger Gary Dourdan George Eads and Jorja Fox. The Spanish language edition of all CSI episodes are also made available.

Also on Hulu recent seasons of several popular TLC and Discovery series including Cake Boss Long Island Medium Man vs. Wild My Strange Addiction MythBusters Say Yes to the Dress and Deadliest Catch (all on Apr. 1) and the latter half of the sixth season of TV Land sitcom Hot in Cleveland and the entire fourth season of TV Land sitcom The Soul Man (both on April 8)

In original fare the Elizabeth Banks executive produced college comedy Resident Advisors debuts on Hulu on April 9. It stars Jamie Chung ( Once Upon a Time ) and Vanessa Lengies ( Glee ). Its producer/director is Ira Ungerleider ( Friends How I Met Your Mother ).

The second season of Hulu s supernatural comedy Deadbeat about a man who can see ghosts and helps the deceased resolve their unfinished business will premiere on April 20.
