The billboard was one thing. This is another thing altogether.
The Lakers tweeted out an image tonight of Dwight Howard s jersey superimposed upon the facade of the Beverly Hills Hotel. (Still unclear if this is Photoshopped or real.) This is just the latest ploy by the Los Angeles Lakers to convince free agent center Dwight Howard to stay with them. These efforts have included a massive billboard and GM Mitch Kupchak telling Dwight they care about him and publicly pleading with him to stay.
At a certain point you just got to play it cool Lakers. Let Dwight come to you
