The Broncos swooped in and snagged a prospect with red flags who was falling down the draft by grabbing Shane Ray with the No. 23 overall pick.
To pull it off wasn't cheap the Broncos had to give up their first round pick (No. 28 overall) a 2015 fifth round pick a 2016 fifth round pick and guard Manny Ramirez.
Pete Prisco isn't exactly high on this pick giving it a B They made the move up to get him because Arizona would have taken him. This is great value. But he has some issues and DeMarcus Ware is getting up in the years.

Ray's a really good pass rusher and he's promised to clean up his act. But it's a risky expensive move for a team that just gave up a big piece that protected
It's true. Ray's great value here but you're talking about a team that needs to protect Peyton Manning.
