The two minute clip which debuted during the series big screen event that kicked off Thursday night is scored to a cover of David Bowie s classic Heroes. It s a fitting soundtrack considering how fan favorites such as Daenerys Arya and Jon Snow seem to begin realizing their epic destinies in the upcoming season.
Among the tidbits previewed in the trailer include Littlefinger encouraging Sansa to seek revenge for her family members' deaths Margaery seeming to tie the knot with Tommen the younger brother of her dead first husband Joffrey Jon Snow having to face another clash with the Wildlings and Arya off on new adventures in Braavos with her beloved sword Needle.
Perhaps most tantalizing of all is a conversation between Tyrion and Varys both of whom have fled Westeros and are seeking to find a new leader to take over the Iron Throne.
